If it’s safe and possible, move all vehicles out of harm’s way. Call emergency services, check for injuries, and document the scene by taking photos of everything and everyone involved. Be sure to exchange information with the other party. Even if emergency personnel are not called, always take photos of the scene and any damage to protect yourself.

It’s recommended to have coverage based on the cost to rebuild your home at today’s market rates. Additionally, your personal property (contents) coverage is typically between 50% and 70% of your home’s insured value.

Consult an insurance professional who can assess your specific needs and help build the best policy to ensure you’re adequately covered.

Colette Cross

Hello, my name is Colette Cross. For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Customer Service Representative at Garnett Insurance, alongside Frank and Tana. I truly enjoy connecting with our clients, whether they call in or visit us at the office!

I grew up in Logan, NM, just 17 miles west of here, on a ranch that has been in my family for generations. Our agricultural roots run deep, tracing back to my great-great-grandparents who homesteaded in this area many years ago.

When I’m not at work, my favorite pastime is spending quality time with my husband, our children, grandchildren, and the rest of our family and friends!

Hunter Garnett

Hunter is currently a junior at WT A&MU, pursuing a degree in Business Marketing.  He has consistently made the Dean’s Honor Roll during his studies. From a young age, Hunter has been involved in the family office, often juggling phone calls with homework and playing. At WT A&MU, he continues to support the family ranch and assist in the office as needed. Hunter has a keen interest in silversmithing and loves working with his hands in his free time.

Hayden Garnett

Hayden is an alumnus of WT A&MU, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Growing up in his family’s insurance office, he became familiar with the industry from a young age, often seen doing homework behind his mother’s desk or welcoming clients. During his time at WT, Hayden balanced his studies with academic excellence and was a member of the maroon platoon while also contributing to the family ranch. He has a strong passion for self-care and enjoys assisting friends and family at the gym when he isn’t in class or at work.

Tana Haase-Garnett
